I had driven quite a bit in the US and wanted to get my UK driving licence and took driving lessons from Arif in 2024. Arif is a consummate professional and he demonstrated his knowledge of the traffic rules and his experience and skills as an instructor during my time with him. He was quite frank about the areas where I needed to improve, especially the bad habits I had picked up from my previous driving experiences. Arif builds a lesson plan based on the skill level of the learner and provides expert guidance with the primary objective of passing the driving test. After struggling with driving lessons with another instructor in a manual car, I found Arif and decided to learn in an automatic - the best decision I could have made! Arif was a supportive, approachable and accomodating instructor and always managed to find a positive solution. I really appreciated that Arif allowed me to take control and make decisions on my own, but came in to support when I needed it most. I always felt that he was a calm and confident presence on the road. He has the unique ability to be a very professional instructor, and a patient and kind personality, who was able to adapt to my learning requirements by creating a relaxed environment in the car that helped with my anxiety.
